Hi there, I’m Taylor!
I’m a writer with an extensive background in…
Exercise Sciences: Holding a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics with a speciality in Clinical Exercise Physiology, I have gained in-depth knowledge of human movement and exercise performance to help me understand its impact on physical health practices.
Coaching & Sports Performance: As an experienced youth soccer coach and former varsity athlete, I have a strong understanding of sports performance to help other likeminded individuals excell in their training. I specialize in the areas of strength training, endurance training, mobility, pain management, and injury prevention.
Clinical Research: Over the past 6 years, I have gained clinical experience in a number of settings including psychiatric illnesses, sleep disorders, childhood autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and orthopaedic trauma.
Health & Wellness: In practicing healthy lifestyles choices, I found passion and inspiration in creating content that guides others towards a healthier, happier life by engaging in topics of physical, mental, and social well-being.
Get to know me!
I moved from Kelowna BC to Calgary AB in 2019 to pursue a career in Orthopaedic Research. Though my passion for health sciences was a contributor, deep down I realized the real spark that brought me to Alberta was the desire to live closer to the Rocky Mountains.
Here, I found myself connecting with new friends who shared the similar lifestyle of me. I’m talking about the kind of friends that are willing to wake up at 2:30am for a sunrise hike or pack up for a spur-of-the-moment 3 day backcountry adventure.
I have a deep love and appreciation for my family and friends. Without the love and support I receive from these beautiful humans (and dogs), I really wouldn’t be the person I am today.
